TWO GERMAN TOURISTS KILLED IN KNIFE ATTACK IN EGYPT’S HURGHADA

CAIRO, Egypt, Two German tourists were killed Friday, in a knife attack in Egypt’s Red Sea resort city of Hurghada.

It was reported earlier that, two Ukrainian women were killed, when a man attacked a group of foreign beach-goers in Hurghada.

The four injured included a Czech woman, two Armenian women and a woman, whose nationality has not yet been identified, Ahram on-line said.

Earlier in the day, the Egyptian ministry of interior said, six foreign female tourists were injured, in a knife attack at a beach resort of the city.

The ministry said, the assailant, who sneaked to the resort from a nearby public beach, was arrested and being interrogated on his motives.

Earlier on Friday, five security personnel were killed, when militants opened fire randomly, on a checkpoint in the Egyptian province of Giza.

The Daesh branch in North Sinai claimed responsibility for most of the attacks, which have so far left hundreds dead in Egypt.
