Two Egyptian medical aid planes land in Sudan

Two Egyptian planes carrying medical aid shipments to Sudan. The shipments include 70 types of medicine.

Receiving the planes at Khartoum International Airport, Egyptian Ambassador Hossam Eissa reaffirmed Cairo’s full support to Khartoum.

Egyptian Assistant Minister of Health Mohamed Magdy Habib described the medical aid shipments provided by Cairo as a right, not a grant for the Sudanese people.

In this regard, he expressed hope that Sudan would pass the current crucial stage in its history.

Meanwhile, Undersecretary for Sudan’s Ministry of Health Sulaiman Abdul Jabbar expressed his country’s appreciation for the medical support offered by Egypt, which he said reflects deep-rooted relations between the two countries in all fields.
