Tunisia looks forward to Sisi’s participation in coming Arab Summit in March

Tunisia said it is looking forward to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s participation in the upcoming Arab Summit in March.

The remarks were made by Tunisian Prime Minister Youssef al-Shahed during a meeting with his Egyptian counterpart Mostafa Madbouli on the fringe of the World Economic Forum, which kicked off in Davos on Tuesday 22/1/2019.

Shahed conveyed the greetings of Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi to his Egyptian counterpart Sisi.

Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr and Egypt’s Delegate to the United Nations in Geneva Ambassador Alaa Youssef attended the meeting.

The Tunisian premier asserted that his country is seeking to boost cooperation ties with Egypt in the various fields.

Meanwhile, Madbouli asserted the strong historical ties binding the two people, voicing his best wishes for the Tunisian government over achieving the aspirations of the Tunisian people.
