Sisi: State keen on getting investors familiar with potentials

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi stressed Wednesday that the state is keen on communicating with investors to get them familiar with the economic developments and promising potentials in various sectors.

Sisi’s remarks came during a meeting with a delegation of representatives taking part in the 3rd investment conference for the Middle East and North Africa, said presidential spokesman Bassam Radi said.

The president said the country was interested in shedding light on the potentials that Egypt enjoys to lure foreign investments, including restoring the security stability, the availability of trained labor, and Egypt’s huge market that has many free trade agreements with Africa, the Arab region and the EU.

He cited the reforms and development measures that Egypt adopted to encourage serious investors and overcome any obstacles faced by the private sector.

The meeting included open discussions between Sisi and the delegation members on the Egyptian economy outlooks.

The delegation comprised top officials of Egyptian, regional and global huge funds and investment institutions.

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, and the ministers of investment, planning, and trade were present.
