Sisi reiterates importance of making digital services affordable to citizens

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi reiterated on Thursday the importance of making the digital services easily available at a suitable cost for the institutions and citizens.

This came on Thursday during Sisi’s meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli along with ministers of defense and military production, foreign affairs, planning, finance, interior affairs and communication and information technology in addition to chairman of Administrative Control Authority, director of military intelligence and director of the department of information systems in the Armed Forces.

The meeting took up the efforts exerted to develop the capabilities of the state via a unified mechanism for digital transformation, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi said.

This comes within efforts to start the digital transformation of the state by canceling documentation on paper across governorates and introducing the digital system to save both money and time.

Sisi gives directives to continue coordination with the bodies concerned in the state in order to make these digital services easily available and affordable, he added.
