Sisi, Lukashenko begin bilateral talks

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his Belarus counterpart Alexander Lukashenko started a session of talks at Ittihadiya Palace on Wednesday 19/2/2020.

President Lukashenko arrived in Cairo on Wednesday morning on a two-day visit to Egypt.

The talks mainly cover means of enhancing bilateral relations in all domains, particularly the economic and trade ones and the progress in implementing agreements reached during President Sisi’s visit to Minsk in 2019, along with a number of other regional and international issues of mutual interest.

President Sisi visited Belarus on June 17 where he held high-level talks. A roadmap on promoting cooperation between the two countries in 2019-2020 and other agreements of mutual concern were signed during the visit.
