Sisi Lauds Saudi Deputy CP Participation in Graduation Ceremony of Military Cadets

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi hailed on Thursday the participation of Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman al Saud in the graduation ceremony of new batches of military academies and institutes.

In a speech at the graduation ceremony, Sisi said this gesture comes in continuation of Saudi Arabia’s long-term supportive stances toward Egypt and its people.

This participation reflects the strong will of both countries to boost bilateral relations in all fields, he added.

He said the participation of the Saudi deputy crown prince sends an important message that nobody will be able to break the unity of the Egyptian, Saudi and Gulf peoples.

He further called on the Arab countries to maintain their unity and stand up to the various challenges threatening the region.

“Egypt and Saudi Arabia are the wings of the Arab national security,” Sisi said in his speech.

He further wished success for the graduated military personnel in their duty to protect Egypt against any aggression or terrorist attempt during this difficult stage.

Sisi talked about the progress witnessed by Egypt at the political, economic, developmental and social levels, calling on Egypt’s servicemen to remain vigilant at all times.

The president congratulated the graduates on having the honor of joining the ranks of the Armed Forces and national police.

Sisi called on the graduates to be role models in discipline and commitment.

He paid tribute to army and police martyrs, who sacrificed themselves defending the nation.

President Sisi noted that the country will be celebrating in a few days the opening of the new Suez Canal project, an impressive achievement that Egyptians had made.

The project is just a beginning for other giant national projects, he said.

The coming period will see the launch and enforcement of new national projects that will help achieve the aspired comprehensive development process and provide new jobs and hope to the youth, he added.

A development project in the Suez Canal region will be launched to develop the Canal cities and Sinai and boost the benefit from Egyptian ports and their distinguished location on the Mediterranean and Red Seas, he added.

Sisi pointed out to other national projects in the pipelines including the reclamation of one million feddans. This is in addition to other projects aiming to extend the national road network, upgrading maritime transport and ports, establishing new international airports, tourist centers and mining industrial complexes, resuming new and renewable energy projects, treating wastewater and recycling wastes.

The strength of the nation lies in the unity of its people against dangers, he added.
