Sisi back home after taking part in MSC

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Sunday 17/2/2019 returned home after a four-day visit to Germany, where he took part in the 55th session of the Munich Security Conference (MSC).

During his participation in a session of the MSC, President Sisi reviewed Egypt’s vision on ways of reaching political solutions to different Middle East crises based on the country’s foreign policy that aims to protect the state’s integrity, institutions and national forces and that respects the sovereignty of the state towards its lands and the region’s stability.

He also expounded Egypt’s vision on promoting African action during Cairo’s 2019 presidency of the African Union through economic integration at the continent’s level, facilitating inter-African trade as part of Africa’s 2063 agenda for sustainable comprehensive development and enhancing reconstruction and development efforts in the post-conflict phase.

Sisi also met during his stay the presidents of Estonia and Ukraine, the German chancellor and a large number of CEOs of German and multinational companies to probe investment opportunities and the expansion of their business activities in Egypt.
