S. Africa president voices keenness on meeting Sisi soon

Newly-elected South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said on Saturday 25/05/2019 that he is looking forward to meeting Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi during the coming period in order to probe means to enhance bilateral cooperation.

Ramaphosa made the remarks during a meeting with Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli on the sidelines of his inauguration ceremony in Pretoria.

During the meeting, Madbouli conveyed Sisi’s greetings to Ramaphosa, stressing the importance of boosting cooperation ties between the two countries during the coming period, said the cabinet’s spokesman Nader Saad.

Madbouli led Egypt’s delegation to the inauguration ceremony on behalf of President Sisi.
