Presidential decree approving protocol with ILO for creating jobs

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued a decree on Thursday approving a cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation and the International Labor Organization (ILO) from 2018 to 2021.

The protocol agreement was signed in April 2018 and was approved by the parliament in December 2018.

The protocol on a project for creating job opportunities and developing the private sector in Egypt, is meant to boost private sector investments, especially in rural areas, and support entrepreneurship.

It also aims at developing micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, increasing production and improving work conditions.

The decree was published in the gazette on Thursday.
