PM, Suez governor review development plans

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli asserted on Thursday that there is an assignment from Presidnet Abdel Fattah El Sisi to start a number of projects to develop Suez governorate.

Addressing a meeting with Suez Governor Abdel-Mageed Saqar, Madbouli said the projects include proposed plans to upgrade roads and to develop all utilities in the province.

The planned projects are also meant to improve services offered to citizens and to encourage investors to carry out projects that serve the governorate and create more jobs for local youths.

Saqar, for his part, reviewed service projects proposed in various sectors including drinking water, sanitary drainage, roads and bridges.

He said that there are some plans to turn the governorate to be a tourist attraction.

Priority projects will be immediately carried out in line with the approved strategic plans for he governorate, said the prime minister.
