PM reviews file of legalizing, restoring state-owned lands with governors

Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli chaired a meeting on Thursday 29/08/2019 to review the file of legalizing and restoring the state-owned lands in various governorates.

The meeting was attended by Local Development Minister Mahmoud Shaarawry along with the governors of Qena, New Valley, Al Sharqiyah, Dakahlia, Alexandria, Giza, Minya, Behira and Sohag in addition to other state officials.

The premier pointed out that these meetings come in preparation for the encounters that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi will hold in the next month with the governors to follow up the file of legalizing and retrieving the state-owned lands alongside other files.

The local development minister reviewed the number of encroachments in several governorates in addition to the number of lands that the state managed to restore.

Shaarawry pointed out that 13 missions have been carried out during the period from May 17, 2017 until August 8, 2019 to remove encroachments.
