PM praises outcome of Egyptian-Iraqi-Jordanian summit

Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli has hailed the outcome of the three-way summit held in Cairo days ago between President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Iraqi Prime minister Adel Abdul Mahdi and King Abdullah II of Jordan.

At the outset of the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, he said the summit reflects the three countries’ keenness on achieving integration and strategic economic interests.

He said a working group will be formed involving ministers from the three countries to discuss cooperation in the sectors of power, transport networks and other projects, pointing out that joint higher committee between Egypt and Iraq will meet next month to prepare for high-profile meetings.
