PM – Gov’t Keen On Protecting Cairo’s Archaeological Buildings

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab stressed on Saturday that the government is keen on protecting the archaeological buildings in Cairo.

Mahlab made the remarks during a plenary meeting of the ministerial committee on Old Cairo.

Attending were the ministers of tourism, local development, urban development, Awqaf, housing, international cooperation, environment and antiquities and Cairo governor.

It was agreed to study establishing a specialized body for Old Cairo.
