Planning ministry participates in Indian workshop

The Ministry of Planning participates in a five-day workshop organized by the Indian government on the citizens’ charter.

In a statement on Monday 25/2/2019, Planning Minister Hala el Said said the workshop – which opened on Sunday 24/2/2019- reviews the ministry’s administrative reform plan for improving government services.

She said the ministry seeks to draw on India’s outstanding experience in developing governmental services.

Ghada Labib, the minister’s deputy, highlighted the importance of getting acquainted with people’s opinions on the development of services to cater for their actual needs, simplifying administrative measures and making them citizen friendly, making the optimal use of available resources and ensuring transparency, accountability and the right to information.
