Our embassy in China provides consular services continously – MOFA

Assistant Foreign Minister for Consulate Affairs and Egyptian Expats Yasser Mahmoud Hashem said the consular section of the Egyptian embassy in China continues to provide all services for Egyptian businessmen and importers.

He reiterated on Sunday16/2/2020 that the section offers services of authentication and notarization of relevant documents, invoices, contracts, civil affairs papers and non-commercial certificates in China.

Hashem explained that the Chinese authorities receive documents, which need to be notarized, form individuals and companies through offices of authentication and foreign relations in different areas in China and collect fees for Egyptian and Chinese notarization.

He pointed out that the Chinese Foreign Ministry collects such all documents and deliver them to the Egyptian embassy in Beijing and the notarization process takes one or two working days.

Hashem added that the Egyptian embassy does all notarization procedures daily, except for weekends on Saturdays and Sundays, despite spread of coronavirus in the Asian country.
