The Pharaohs of Egypt led by Hector Cuper are expected to land at the Kaduna International Airport by 6pm this evening aboard a chartered aircraft in preparations for Friday’s crucial African Cup of Nations group G qualifier against Nigeria’s Super Eagles at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium.

This information was sent to Daily Trust by press attache of the Egyptian embassy in Abuja, Mr. Ahmed Maher Akl, who also revealed that the seven-time AFCON winners will be leaving straight for Alexandria on Friday immediately after the match so as to rest well before Tuesday’s return leg in the Egyptian city.

“All arrangements have been made and we’re expecting them tomorrow (today) evening in Kaduna, and will leave Kaduna immediately after the match on Friday for Alexandria to prepare for the second leg,” Maher said.

Meanwhile, it was reported yesterday that Zamalek winger Mostafa Fathi faces a late fitness test ahead of Friday’s showdown against Samson Siasia’s Eagles team.
