Military Production, Korean company sign for a waste-to-energy plant

State Minister of Military Production Mohamed Saaed el Assar witnessed on Thursday 14/3/2019, the inking of a memorandum of understanding between the National Organization for Military Production (NOMP) and the South Korean company Ket Engineering.

Under the memo, the two sides will cooperate to establish a waste-to-energy plant.

This falls within the framework of Egypt’s efforts to improve environmental, health and living conditions of its people in addition to upping economic revenues.

The Ministry of Military Production also seeks to promote cooperation with international companies to draw on up-to-date technology in the industrial domain.

The Korean company’s managing director stressed his company’s keenness on cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Military Production which has great technological, industrial and technical potentials.

He added that the two sides cooperated in implementing several national and development projects in Egypt.

He stressed confidence that cooperation between the two sides in turning wastes into energy would be fruitful.
