AMMAN, July 2 Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi on Tuesday discussed on the telephone Jordanian-Egyptian ties and ways to further boost bilateral cooperation in various fields.

During the conversation, the two leaders stressed the strong historical and strategic ties between the two countries.

The King and the Egyptian leader reviewed the current situation in the Middle East and ways to deal with the challenges facing the region “in a manner to serve Arab issues and joint interests”.

The King and Sisi also exchanged good wished on the holy month of Ramadan.
