House approves 2 oil exploration agreements

The House of Representatives approved on Sunday 27/1/2019 two agreements on petroleum exploration and economic metals excavation in Ras Badran and Khaleeg al Zeit areas in the Gulf of Suez.

The House approved a report by a joint committee of the energy and environment and the bureau of the Constitutional and Legislative Affairs Committee on a bill submitted by the government to license the minister of petroleum to sign a contract with the Egyptian Mineral Resources Authority (EMRA) for petroleum exploration, development and usage at Ras Badran and Khaleeg al Zeit development areas in the Gulf of Suez.
