Giza-Shobra metro line suspended due to power outage

The Giza-Shobra metro line was suspended Tuesday morning due to a power outage that lasted for about half an hour.

The internal radio station of the metro announced that a technical problem had caused the power outage.

Passengers were more than displeased.

As a result of the outage, other metro cars were overcrowded and many passengers got off for relief from the heat.

The operations of the Giza metro line returned to normal shortly after being suspended for some time.

The company running the metro issued a statement saying that a malfunction had occurred due to a power outage and that the problem had now been repaired. The statement said that all metro lines were now running normally.
