ENPO, EPG, Poste Maroc Sign Tripartite Agreement

The Egyptian National Post Organization (ENPO), Emirates Post Group (EPG) and Poste Maroc will sign a tripartite agreement-on March 23-24, in Casablanca, Morocco-to enhance the quality of international express mail service among the three countries.

The agreement follows the outcomes of the meetings of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) Council of Administration (CA) and Postal Operations Council (POC), which aimed to improve the quality of international express mail among the three states.

The tripartite agreement aims to improve and integrate the supply chain of international express mail service through the use of global systems, as well as acquiring tools that achieve best performance of operational and information systems. This is in addition to developing international express mail and e-commerce service market through facilitating international trade via the postal network of the international express mail and the Universal Postal Union (UPU) e-commerce program.

Moreover, the agreement is designed to improve the standards of the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) messaging through the use of standard electronic messages for international postal transport (PREDES / RESDES, PRECON / RESCON and CARDIT/ RESDIT) and customs (ITMATT). This is in addition to the evaluation and follow-up of procedures implemented within this project through reviewing its implementation and outcomes given by various performance indicators.
