Egypt’s badminton players bag bronze medal at 2019 African games

Egypt’s badminton players have won the bronze medal at the 2019 African games, currently taking place in the Moroccan capital of Rabat.

This came after a defeat by South Africa 3-0 in the semi-final.

The Egyptian team advanced to the semi-final after defeating Zambia 3-0 in the round of 8th and conquering Eritrea and South Africa at the first round.

The national team comprises four male players; Adham Hatem, Ahmed Salah, Abdel Rahman Abdel Hakim and Mohammed Mostafa.

The female players are Hadya Hosny, Janna Ashraf, Doha Hany and Nour Yousry.
