Egypt’s ambassador in Berlin hails role of culture, arts in combating extremism

Egypt’s Ambassador in Berlin Badr Abdel Aati has hailed the role of arts and culture in in bringing peoples and civilizations closer.

Arts and culture also play a role in combating extremism, racism and hatred, Abdel-Atti told the closing ceremony of an exhibition hosted by the Egyptian museum in the German capital.

He cited the impact of the Pharaonic civilization on the development of arts, culture and sciences across the world.

Inaugurated in April, the expo on German and Arab storytelling was visited by around 300,000 people.
