EGYPTIAN FOREIGN MINISTER DUE IN AMMAN, JORDAN TODAY

CAIRO, Egypt, July 8 – The Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shukri, will today visit Jordan for talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Nasser Judeh.

The Kingdom will be the first leg of a regional tour, that will also take Shukri to Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, according to a statement issued by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.

While in Jordan and Kuwait, the Egyptian top diplomat will discuss a number of regional issues, mainly the developments in Iraq and Syria.

In Saudi Arabia, Shukri will attend a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), to discuss the latest development in the Palestinian occupied territories, in the light of the recent Israeli escalation.
