EGYPT TO OPEN RAFAH CROSSING FOR SIX DAYS

The Egyptian authorities are to open the Rafah crossing with the Gaza Strip, for six days, starting next week, to allow Palestinians with humanitarian needs to pass.

Palestinian crossing and borders officials, said Thursday that, the opening will be for Palestinian patients and students travelling, in addition to allowing those stuck from the Egyptian side, to enter the Gaza Strip.

Last Sept, the Egyptian authorities opened the crossing for several days, to allow Hajj pilgrims to return into Gaza.
