Egypt Partakes in CeBIT 2016

Egypt, represented by the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA), will participate in the Centrum der Buro- und Informations Technik (CeBIT) 2016, held on March 14-18 in Hannover, Germany. CeBIT is the largest and one of the most distinguished computer expos in the world.

CeBIT is held annually at the Hanover Fairground and gathers the very best of future designs and concepts in the information technology industry.

CeBIT will feature workshops, expert discussion panels and an exhibition of world latest technologies, tools and products. The exhibition will gather major companies and organizations specialized in the telecommunications, information technology, and software and information security from around the world.

CeBIT sessions and workshops will tackle topics that cover several fields including big data and cloud computing, commerce and banking, communications and network, datacenters, Internet of things, marketing and sales, research and innovation and security.

MCIT participation is in line with its keenness to communicate with companies that provide new solutions in different areas. The Ministry is also ardent to get acquainted with new technologies in all different fields and identify new international standards in these areas.
