Egypt, Norway Discuss Developing Economic Cooperation, Increasing Investments

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held talks with his Norwegian counterpart Borge Brende on developing economic and trade cooperation and increasing investments, Foreign Ministry spokesman Badr Abdel Aati said.

Talks covered the economic steps taken by the Egyptian government to improve investment climate and lure more investments to the country, the spokesman noted.

They also agreed to start cooperation in the fisheries domain.

The two sides discussed preparations for the reconstruction of Gaza conference to take place in Cairo on October 12, efforts to restore order and security in Libya and combating terrorism as well as the situation in South Sudan, the spokesman added.
