Egypt follows situation of stranded Egyptians in Tunisia

The Egyptian Embassy in Tunisia said on Wednesday  25/3/2020 that it is following up with Tunisian authorities the situation of stranded Egyptians, who wish to return to their homeland in light of Tunisia’s decision to suspend international flights amid coronavirus fears.

In a press statement, the embassy said the stranded Egyptians include those having tourist and visit visas, not those carrying residence visas.

The embassy called on the stuck Egyptians willing to return to their homeland to submit a request to the embassy on that score so that they could be notified when Tunisia resumes international flights.

The embassy called on Egyptian expats in Tunisia to abide by precautionary measures adopted by the Tunisian government to combat the novel coronavirus.
