Egypt, Bulgaria to cooperate in veterinary medicine

Egypt has agreed with Bulgaria to cooperate and exchange expertise in veterinary medicine, said chief of the general authority for veterinary services Abdel Hakim Mahmoud on Friday.

“Cooperation will cover genetic improvement of breeds Including sheep and goats, and diagnosis of diseases of livestock and poultry,” Mahmoud said in press statements.

A protocol to that effect was inked with the European country during meetings of the joint commission held in Sofia, he added.

Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr chaired the Egyptian side at the meetings, he noted.
