Egypt, Bulgaria discuss joint cooperation

State Minister of Military Production Mohamed Saeed el Assar and Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) Abdel-Moneim el Tarras discussed on Tuesday with Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Economy Alexander Manolev and his accompanying delegation aspects of joint cooperation.

The meeting reviewed the technological and industrial potentials available in the companies and the units affiliated to the Ministry of Military Production and the AOI.

The meeting also tackled cooperation in the civil fields with the Bulgarian companies.

Both the ministry and the AOI cooperate with different international companies to transfer the latest technologies in different domains to the companies and units affiliated to them.

They also contribute to implementing national projects in cooperation with the different bodies in the state, the private sector and the foreign companies within the framework of Egypt Vision 2030 for sustainable development.

Tarras said that the AOI is working side by side with the companies and units of the ministry and cooperating with international companies to benefit from them in developing production lines.

Manolev lauded the technological, technical, research ad training potentials of the companies and units of the ministry and the AOI, asserting that there is a strong cooperation between Egypt and Bulgaria in numerous fields.

The Bulgarian government seeks to further boost economic cooperation with Egypt, he said.
