Culture Min. launches Campaigns of Artistic Censorship to Preserve Public morals alive!

The Minister of Culture launches Campaigns of Artistic Censorship in

Order to Preserve The Public morals in all governorates

Artistic Censorship Authority issues 14 reports on the first day of

the campaign in three provinces.

Abdel Dayem:The campaigns aimed at preserving the values of society

and its symbols

Dr. Inas Abdel-Dayem, Minister of Culture, ordered the Artistic

Censorship Authority, headed by Dr. Khaled Abdel-Galil, to launch

continuous campaigns on the places of practicing artistic activities

and control the violators. The campaigns started in Minya, Giza and

Alexandria.

During the first day of the campaign, 14 reports were edited: 3 in

Menia governorate, 6 in Giza governorate and 5 in northern coast,

all of them to were caught practicing activities without a license.

The Minister of Culture said that the campaigns aim at preserving

the principles of the Egyptian society and its authentic identity

and symbols, in addition to building individuals.

The Minister added that the State always supports the principles,

public morals and social traditions as one of the most important pillars of

building the nation and citizen.

According to the directions of The Minister of Culture to preserve

the public morals , The Ministry of Culture announced the continuation

and intensification of campaigns in all governorates.

It is worthy of note that The Minister of Culture issued a decision

to open the offices of The Artistic Censorship Authority in eight

provinces: in Luxor, Aswan, South Sinai, Sharm El-Sheikh,

the Red Sea Hurghada, Assiut, Giza, 6th of October, Minya .

In addition to the fact that the Authority is establishing

new headquarters in the different governorates of Egypt.
