Constitutional amendment team announced soon, adviser says

The Egyptian Presidency is expected to announce details of an upcoming committee tasked with amending the constitution, according to presidential adviser Ali Awad.

The timescale and location for the constitutional committee's work has reportedly been decided on.

Awad confirmed the committee would include Supreme Constitutional Court members Mohamed al-Shennawy and Mohamed Kheir Taha, judges Hassan Bassiouny and Mohamed Eid Mahgoub, and Administrative court official Hossam Abdel Aziz.

Four legal professors – Fathy Fekry, Ali abdel Aal, Salah Eddin Fawzy and Hamdy Ali – will also participate.
