Cairo Stadium to host Zamalek, Al Ahly matches in CAF CL semis

Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi decided on Tuesday 10/3/2020 to postpone the maintenance of Cairo Stadium until May 10 in order to host Al Ahly and Zamalek in the CAF Champions League semi-finals.

The Red Devils are set to play against Morocco’s Wydad, while the White Knights will face Raja.

The decision was made following the minister’s meeting with the board of directors of the general authority of Cairo International Stadium.

The Egyptian minister affirmed his full support to Cairo giants Al Ahly and Zamalek and all Egyptian clubs taking part in the African competitions.

Sobhy called upon Al Ahly, Zamalek, and Pyramids to exert more efforts to reach the final game in the Champions League and Confederation Cup.
