Cabinet holds weekly meeting

Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli held on Wednesday 13/2/2019 a weekly cabinet meeting to review a number of economic, political, social and health files in addition to international cooperation, especially at the African level.

The meeting is to tackle several domestic issues, draft laws and ministerial resolutions aiming at achieving a boom at all levels, ensuring economic and social stability, stimulating investment opportunities and following up in-progress national projects in different governorates.

The cabinet will also follow up the measures afoot to provide social security to all citizens under a national initiative adopted by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

The meeting will address measures necessary for supporting low-income citizens and people with special needs, improving health and education services and meeting public needs.

It will also take up Egypt’s role in several domains in light of its current chairmanship of the African Union.

Earlier, Madbouli said in statements that Egypt will work on promoting joint work in Africa and leading the track of sustainable development in the continent.
