ARAB LEAGUE DEPLORES TWIN ATTACK IN LIBYA

CAIRO, The Arab League on Wednesday condemned a twin attack in the Libyan city of Benghazi yesterday (Tuesday), which left scores dead or injured.

Secretary-General Ahmad Abul-Gheit said in a press statement that the league stands side by side with Libya in its fight against terrorism and extremist groups that target its security and stability and undermine national unity efforts.

He urged all Libyan factions and groups to get united in order to uproot terrorism and extremism by means of unifying Libyan military and security establishments.

At least 27 people were killed on Tuesday in two car bombs near a mosque in the Libyan city of Benghazi.
