Arab Economic Forum kicks off in Lebanon, Egypt honorary guest

The 27th Arab Economic Forum kicked off here Thursday with the participation of Egyptian and Lebanese premiers Mostafa Madbouli and Saad el Hariri.

Egypt participates in the event as an honorary guest.

Egyptian ministers of electricity, investment, trade, manpower, communication and petroleum are among Egypt’s high-level delegation to the forum that will also see Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit.

Egypt’s participation as a guest of honor offers a chance for investors to get first hand information about the country’s current reform and urbanization revolution under the theme “Phase of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi leader of Egypt’s modern renaissance”, Raouf Abou Zaki, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group, said in statements.

The business climate alongside investment opportunities in Egypt and Lebanon will top the agenda of the forum where two sessions on the latest progress achieved by the economic sectors of both countries will be held.
