Antiquities min. inspects preparations for Tutankhamun’s exhibition in Paris

Antiquities Minister Khaled Anany inspected on Thursday the preparations for the exhibition of Golden Pharaoh Tutankhamun ahead of its inauguration on Thursday evening.

Anany, accompanied by by renowned Egyptologist Zahi Hawas and Egypt’s Ambassador in France Ehab Badawi, watched a documentary on the discovery of the cemetery of King Tutankhamun, the treasures found inside it, his life, era and death.

The minister hailed the preparations for the exhibition that will be inaugurated in the presence of French Culture Minister Franck Riester, lauding the advertisements that encourage school students to get acquainted with the ancient Egyptian civilization.
