ALGERIAN PRESIDENT HOLDS TALKS WITH EMIR OF QATAR, EGYPTIAN PRESIDENT ON GAZA

ALGIERS, July 31 — President Abdelaziz Bouteflika of Algeria has held talks with Egyptian President Abdulfettah El-Sisi and the Emir of State of Qatar, Temim Bin Hamed al Thani, on the situation in Gaza.

The presidency said in a statement that the discussions Wednesday enabled the three leaders to share their deep concern and that of their peoples and governments about the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian civilians in Gaza.

“President Abdelaziz Bouteflika has also discussed with these leaders ways and means for an Arab joint and intense action so to bring the international community to get an urgent cessation of the Israeli aggression on Gaza and an Arab increased solidarity with Gaza inhabitants,” the statement stressed.

“Moreover, President Abdelaziz Bouteflika decided to provide an urgent financial aid worth 25 million US dollars to Palestine and notably Gaza.”
