Unga Adopts 2 Resolutions Sponsored By Egypt Against Israeli Practices

The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Wednesday 26112014 adopted two draft resolutions sponsored by Egyptian chief delegate to the UN Amr Abul Atta.

The first blueprint is on Al-Quds (occupied East Jerusalem) and the second on the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.

According to a statement by the Egyptian foreign ministry, the UNGA adopted the first draft resolution with a majority of 144 votes in favor and six against with 10 countries abstaining.

The second draft resolution was adopted with a majority of 99 votes and six votes against with 57 countries abstaining.

The two draft resolutions express rejection by the international community of the illegitimate Israeli practices in the occupied Arab territories.
