Tourism, Antiquities Ministers Kick Off Arab Beach Soccer Championship in Sharm

Tourism Minister Hisham Zaazou, Antiquities Minister Mohamad Ibrahim and South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda kicked off the third Arab championship of beach soccer in Sharm el-Sheikh city.

The championship will run until May 17 with the participation of eight countries namely Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Sudan, Palestine, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman.

The inaugural match saw Egypt play Sudan.

The championship comes as part of the promotional events for the tourism sector in Egypt, especially in Sharm el-Sheikh.
