Ten Wounded in Friday Clashes, No Deaths – Moh

Ten people were wounded in clashes that erupted across Egypt on Friday, the Health Ministry has said.

Two people were wounded in Cairo, two in Fayoum and six in Suez, the ministry said, adding that they were taken to a hospital for medical attention.

The National Alliance to Support Legitimacy, that supports ousted President Mohamed Mursi and the Muslim Brotherhood, had called on its supporters to demonstration on Friday and during the week against what they described as the return of military rule.

Egypt’s former army chief Abdel Fattah al-Sisi won last week’s presidential election by a landslide and is expected to be the country’s next president.

The Interior Ministry had said that 59 Brotherhood supporters were arrested during marches on Friday.
