”Tahya Misr” Fund Launches Under Sisi’s Supervision, Cao’s Control

The Presidency announced on Tuesday 172014 the launch of “Tahya Misr” (Long Live Egypt) fund to support Egypt’s economy.

The move came in response to a call by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, who gave up half of his salary and property to shore up the Egyptian economy.

Earlier, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) opened the door to donations to support the national economy at bank account number 037037.

The fund will be directly supervised by President Sisi as well as Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el-Tayyib, Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and CBE Governor Hisham Ramez.

The Central Auditing Organization (CAO) will also fully control the fund within the framework of transparency and credibility.

The presidency called upon all Egyptian to shoulder their responsibility and take part in building their State.
