Suez Canal Expected to Make Le 37 Billion Revenues

Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority expected the Suez Canal to make more than LE37 billion revenues this year. “These revenues will be the biggest ever in the canal’s history,” Lieutenant General Muhab Mamish said.

In statements, Mamish said some transit fees increased as of the first of May. He noted that the increase will be varied from five to nine percent. He expected 10% increase in the revenues of the international canal.
