President Sisi Reviews Plan for Governorates Demarcation

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi reviewed on Sunday 16112014 the final plan for demarcating future administrative borders of the governorates.

During a meeting with Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab and Minister of Administrative Development Adel Labib, the President stressed the importance of extending all developed services and utilities as well as administrative services to the regions, which will be re-demarcated.

Presidential Spokesman Ambassador Alaa Youssef said the President listened to an explanation by the Minister of Local Development on the final visualization for demarcation, stressing the need for taking into account the inputs and outputs of every governorate and making an all out visualization of tourism and investment in the governorates after re-drawing up their new borders mainly in the governorates which will have coasts on the Red Sea especially the Upper Egypt governorates.

The President said the Red Sea should have a public coast, which is available to citizens adding this coast should have a design that could take into account the population increase in future.

Ambassador Alaa Youssef said President Sisi welcomed a suggestion by the Prime Minister for mapping out a strategic plan for developing the Red Sea coast region.
