PM – We Are Facing Fierce War Against Unemployment

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab inspected Thursday 25092014 a number of development projects in Alexandria.

The projects included a sewerage station in al-Agami district, western the city, the expansion of Moharram Bek Bridge, and the experimental operation of the sewerage station in Al-Amirya at cost of EGP 1.2 billion and others.

Mahlab asserted the government’s keenness on boosting the economy via establishing developmental projects nationwide. He said that his visit witnessed the reviving of three stalled national projects.

On the other hand, Malahb witnessed the inauguration of the experimental operation of Smouha emergency university hospital whose cost hit about EGP 250 million. The hospital is part of a partnership project between the Egyptian and Dutch governments.

Mahlab also visited the mall and the shops in Sedi Gaber train station.

This comes also as part of Mahlab’s visit to Alexandria in which Mahlab said that there are a number of projects suspended for having no finance or for other reasons.

PM Mahlab also said that we are facing fierce war against unemployment, but we are sure that tomorrow would be better thanks to the big national projects currently adopted by the government.

Mahlab asserted that the inaugurating of giant projects reflects the state of stability that Egypt currently witnesses in spite of having many hindrances.

Addressing the Arab Contractors’ workers, Mahlab said that those who love Egypt should work 12 hours instead of 8 hours a day. He also noted that the wages would be linked to production.
