PM – Egypt Faces Colossal Challenges, but Effort Gives Rise to Hope

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab stressed on Tuesday 1792014 that huge challenges are facing the government but hope resulted from efforts exerted to overcome the difficulties.

The PM made the remarks during a meeting with a group of Arab labor ministers and employers during the 41st session of the Arab Labor Conference that kicked off in Cairo on Sunday 1492014.

Mahlab also praised the efforts exerted to achieve the hoped breakthrough, saying the new the network would help taking unemployment rates down.

Arab countries experienced shortage of information about the labor markets, Mahlab said, adding, the new project would save a great deal of efforts.

Arab countries were swept with terrorism, he regretted, saying, “It is a highly sophisticated and organized industry.”

He described unemployment as the secret behind what he called “the organized trade of terrorism.”

The conference covered pan-Arab cooperation in the fields of employment, job creation and facilitating movement of workers.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Manpower Nahed el-Ashri who chaired the conference and head of Arab Labor Organization Ahmed Lukman.

During the conference, the Arab ministers announced the launch of a pan-Arab labor information network to support the Arab labor network, Ashri said during the meeting.
