NCHR Head – Egypt Keen On Supporting Freedoms

Head of the National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) Mohamed Fayek said that the Egyptian State is keen on supporting freedoms and rights, especially in light of the new provisions about freedoms in the constitution.

He added that the Legislative Reform Committee was formed to draft and amend laws in light of the new constitution.

Fayek’s remarks came during his participation in the inauguration of the Second International Forum for Human Rights in Morocco.

He added that Egypt is about to issue new laws to ensures the people’s freedoms.
