International Mission to Follow Up Presidential Polls Starts Work Nationwide

The international mission to follow up Egypt’s May 26-27 presidential elections has started its work.

The mission includes the Global Network for Rights and Development from Norway, International Institute for peace, Justice and Human-rights from Switzerland, and Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights from Egypt.

The joint mission issued a statement in which it said that it will field a team of 124 international experts of different nationals to follow up the elections, in addition to 2, 490 Egyptian experts from Maat foundation.

The mission has started establishing two central operation rooms in Cairo and other 22 sub-operation rooms in the governorates in order to follow up the voting process.
