Interior Minister Mourns Police Conscripts

Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim mourned three conscripts who were killed in a drive-by shooting in front of the Azhar University’s dorms in the Cairo suburb of Nasr City.

The late night attack left a police officer and eight conscripts injured, two of them critically.

Immediately after the terrorist attack, security forces combed the site and security patrols were intensified in a bid to track down the killers.

Such cowardly operations will only make policemen more resolved to continue the fight against terrorism, Ibrahim stressed.

He extended his sincerest condolences to the families of the killed conscripts, wishing speedy recovery to the injured.
